Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Screening resumes and coordinating with HR manager on urgent openings for the company
2. Performing in-person and phone interviews with candidates
3. Performing reference and background checks
4. Coordinating interviews with the hiring managers
5. Following up on the interview process status
6. Maintaining relationships with the hiring manager to ensure that the staffing goals are achieved
7. Communicating employer information and benefits during the screening process
8. Staying updated with the current trends in hiring practices
9. Serving as a liaison with employment agencies, colleges, social media, and other job portals
10. Completing timely reports on the employment activity
