Job Description

IBM CDC DEVELOPMENT AND SUPPORT
4 - 9 Years
Mumbai

Roles and Responsibilities:-

  • Should know CDC installation, configuration on source and target as per the environment specifications.
  • Should know how to create instance, map the tables, columns.
  • Should know how to identify if the supplementary logging is disabled by source.
  • Should know the details about the ports to be opened for the CDC installation.
  • Fix pack installation./Software installation and PMR support.
  • Prepare impact analysis & estimations for change requests, enhancements and system integrations.
  • Production Support and enhancement.
  • Technical Training for end user.
  • Analysis of the specifications provided by the clients.
  • Analysing the Project requirement documents of High Level Documents, High Level Mapping Documents and Functional Documents.
  • Performance finetuning
  • Analysis of the data processing trend
  • Should be able to stop and start the CDC servives and servers smoothly.
  • Prepare SOP for the daily / weekly / monthly activities.
  • Should know how to upgrade from one version to next version.
  • Should train the monitoring team for the daily activities.
  • Prepare the CDC status report to be published on decided frequency.
  • Should know the the script writing & automation of the same.
  • Should know how to integrate CDC with different systems and type of sources.
