Your Role and Responsibilities
As an Infrastructure Specialist – ITM/Netcool Professional, you are responsible to support and maintain ITM6 and Netcool monitoring environment.

Responsibilities

• Create scripts for the deployment and checking of monitoring in cloud ITM6 environment
• Produce and implement monitoring designs for new projects including custom monitoring scripts/agents
• Produce custom monitoring solutions for new Applications being introduced
• Produce default monitoring standards for new Platforms/Hardware/Software
• Creating of build scripts for new agents
  
  

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• Minimum 8 years of shown experience with ITM/Netcool
• Experience on distributed architecture ITM & Netcool and support L2 & L3 activities
• Working knowledge on ITM Infrastructure V6.3
• Prior experience on ITM- HTEMS, RTEMS, TEPS, WPA, & TDW on different ITM agents (OS, Universal, GSMA Agents),ITCAM /ITM Application agents (ITCAM DB2, SAP, AD, VMWare, MQ, Lotus etc).Working knowledge on Infra level support services upgrading HUBTEMS, TEPS, TEMA
• Validated understanding of ITM historical data collection.

ITM6 Agent Builder:

• Experience on the Agent builder to create custom Agent and installation / configuration with custom Agent.

Netcool:

• Expertise with OMNIbus and OMNIbus core sub-products (gateways and probes)
• IBM GSMA Architecture knowledge is preferable.
• Proficient on working with different Tivoli Netcool Probes & Gateway
• Solid experience in create/customize Netcool Omnibus Rules, Triggers, Procedures, create views, filters in Web GUI, Scripting, SQL queries
  
  

Preferred Technical And Professional Expertise

• Basic scripting skills in Perl Scripting and XML/SON
• Ability to create and customize ITM Situations, deploy customize monitoring (script, query, URL, port, etc)
• Basic understanding of ITM historical data collection and should be able to create customized script
• Proficiency with various scripting and coding methods such as PERL/CGI, Shell/Batch, XML, SQL
• You love collaborative environments that use agile methodologies to encourage creative design thinking and find innovative ways to develop with cutting edge technologies
• Ambitious individual who can work under their own direction towards agreed targets/goals and with creative approach to work
• Intuitive individual with an ability to manage change and proven time management
• Proven interpersonal skills while contributing to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
• Up-to-date technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing publications
