Your Role and Responsibilities
IIB and Datapower L2 Admin will provide support in implementing solutions and troubleshooting issues related to IIB and Datapower.

Responsibilities:

Support / Install WebSphere QMGR's on MQ Appliance Distributed UNIX environment
Install / Upgrade / Configure IBM Integration Bus
Auto Deploy Code to IBM Integration Bus
Troubleshoot MQ issues related to message driven beans
MQ Security & HA
Migrate QMGR's from Distributed env to MQ Appliance
Responsible for building and management of production and non-production environments in various phases of messaging infrastructure
Proficient in IBM WebSphere MQ & IBM Message Broker/IBM Integration Bus administration (v5,6,7,9)
Responsible for design and implementing advanced MQ & Broker infrastructure solutions on different platforms like Windows, AIX/Unix, AS400
Maintain daily logs of operational issues and maintenance activities; Contribute to business meetings and report on issue status
Address customer issues promptly and accurately
Apply ITIL methodologies

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

Good understanding of IIB and DataPower architecture
Experience in Installation and Administration of IIB and DataPower on various platforms
Working Knowledge with IIB 10 and ACE 11
Prior experience working with DataPower v7,v10
Monitoring application and system logs to proactively find potential problems and take required action
Configuration like ODBC, Configurable Services in IIB and DataPower
Analysing logs and traces for troubleshooting complex issues
Understanding of Best practices to be followed in IIB and DataPower
Good understanding in implementing security in IIB and DataPower
Good communication skills
Extensive knowledge and experience in IIB 9/10/ACE 11
Extensive experience in IBM DataPower 7/10
Worked in vast setups of IIB and DataPower
Experience in troubleshooting IIB and Datapower issues.

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

Experience in other WebSphere middleware technologies
Knowledge in WebSphere Application Server, IBM MQ etc.
Demonstrable experience in handling large end user setups IT Industry
