Role: Illustrator and Motion Lead Designer

Who are we?

DeHaat is the fastest-growing AgTech startup in India and the only full-stack agri service provider. Founded by people from IIT Delhi, IIT Kharagpur, IIM Ahmedabad, and other top institutes. Currently, we are connecting 2,65,000 farmers of eastern India (Bihar, UP, and Odisha) directly to 150+ agri businesses like agri-input companies, institutional buyers, and financial institutions.

We are a funded startup growing 3-4x annually; targeting to work with 5 million farmers by 2024. Because of the impact, we create at the grass-root level, we have been awarded a number of times at multiple forums such as NASSCOM, Forbes, ET, Niti Aayog, and many more.

Handling the current situation very well, this sector has great potential to fulfill the need of the future. About your role at DeHaat:

Of course, we are not expecting you to be like a farmer. But yes, your strong visual communication can make a difference. Yes, a good storyteller can surely make a difference.

There are no formal academic requirements for entry into the profession, fine art, illustration, graphic design, multimedia qualification may be helpful. Postgraduate courses may be beneficial.

• Must have some experience in creating motion graphics.
• Strong sense of motion and a design aesthetic that aligns with our brand.
• Must be able to pull off projects within given deadlines.
• Excellent command of After Effects, Photoshop, and Illustrator.
• Cinema 4D and Premiere Pro experience is a plus.
• Experience in Classical Animation, rotoscoping, and visual effects would be a plus.
• Understanding of editing and camera techniques.
• Understanding of typography.
• Ability to parallel path multiple responsibilities and assignments under strict deadlines.
• Experience of Illustrations & Graphics
• An understanding of storytelling.

• One who creates rather than relying on sourced assets.

• Adobe Photoshop
• Adobe Illustrator
• Adobe After Effects (Pro Level)
• Adobe Premier Pro (Pro Level)
