Job Description

Responsibilities
  • Support and coordinate necessary paperwork remotely based on our internal process for work authorization within our global work force.
  • Support and coordinate Visa/Immigration programs/procedures for the non-citizen employees and contractors; The Junior Immigration Specialist will assist with the processing of H-1B extensions, transfers, and amendment filings
  • Provide support to maintain records of employee temporary appointments and support sponsorship process.
  • Support the US team with immigration paperwork, including applications for immigration and visas Support the lead immigration specialist in assisting the immigration programs and assist with immigration procedures.
  • Provide detailed reports and analysis of immigration data.
  • Provide support to maintain I9 paperwork.

Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree from accredited university or equivalent experience
  • 2+ years of U.S. immigration experience, either within a law firm (such as a paralegal with responsibility for immigration petition preparation/filing) or in-house in an organization with a significant volume of immigration-supported employees or in a recruiting or HR role with heavy U.S. immigration involvement
  • Experience in task management; organizing, directing, and coordinating the planning and production of all activities associated with assigned Immigration related tasks.
  • Ability to provide exceptional internal client service.
  • Must demonstrate good oral and written communication to deal with US employees.
  • Proven expertise in MS Office package (MS Word and MS Excel.)
A Bachelor’s Degree or higher level degree is strongly preferred.
