The import/export executive will provide support to the import/export administrator and assist with the preparation of import and export documents, sales marketing and operations in compliance with customs and government regulations.
· Main role is for international business communication in-house sales and marketing
· Prepares documents and forms to move goods efficiently through import and export steps and procedures.
· Reviews paperwork and documents to ensure shipping, handling, storage charges, and customs fees are billed correctly.
· Maintains a database that tracks merchandise. claims on merchandise shortages and overages.
Performs other duties as assigned
· You should understand the process of sourcing products, managing logistics, customs requirements, and international trade agreements.
· Collect and analyze data on sales, market trends, and performance indicators to generate reports.
· Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements, such as import/export documentation, customs procedures, and international trade laws. Attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping are crucial.
Required skills/abilities:
· You should possess strong verbal and written communication skills to interact with clients, suppliers, and stakeholders from diverse cultural backgrounds.
· Knowledge of shipping regulations and policies can be learnt excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Proficient with Microsoft office suite or related software.
