7.8 billion tonnes of plastic has been produced so far, more than 1000 kg of plastic for every person alive. For every 1000 kg of plastic produced, only 200 kg is recycled, and 250 kg is burned, the rest 550 kg will be laying in landfills, rivers, or oceans for hundreds of years. ZeroPlast Labs aims to solve the plastic waste problem by developing bioplastics and composites, which biodegrades after use into organic matter leaving no residues behind.

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Be the key lead production head and work on shaping the production strategy
2. Conduct processing trials
3. Undertake procurement and work on vendor development
