Job Description

Industrial Designer recruitment in IIT Gandhinagar

Project Title: SmartWalk: Intelligent Sensor-fitted Shoes for Gait Monitoring and Rehabilitation in Neurological Disorders,Ref. No: RES/DBT/EE/P0111/1819/0027

Qualification and Experience: Essential:B. Des. in industrial design or equivalent. 4-5 years of experience in industrial/ product and design. Good design research and data analysis skills. Understanding of Materials - mainly wearable devices.

Ability to prepare sketches of ideas, detailed drawings, illustrations, CAD. Knowledge of various prototyping/ mock-ups making processes. Ability to direct and coordinate the fabrication of prototyping/ mock-ups.

Preferred: Experience of designing electronic devices Stationed at Ahmedabad Network of vendors and other service providers

Consolidated Monthly Pay: Rs. 50,000/month (consolidated salary)
