About The
Role
:
The ICS Cyber Security Defense and Monitoring group is looking for an Information Security Analyst to join our Data Loss Prevention and Monitoring Team. The Information Security Analyst will participate in monitoring, identification, analysis, and case management and response actions.
Responsibilities
:
The selected person will perform reviews of emails, internet posts, SharePoint/Network files that may contain sensitive customer, team member or other Wells Fargo information.
You will evaluate and access whether the information being transmitted is compliant against Wells Fargo corporate policy and determine appropriate action.
You will work as part of a highly interactive team, expected to analyze data and render decisions quickly.
Most of your day will be spent in a production oriented environment reviewing detected events.
As you mature in your position you will complete ad hoc analysis, become a SME in one of our core technology areas and be relied on within the team for your skill.

Qualifications
Essential
:
- Must have 5+ years of Data Loss Prevention experience specifically working in US financial sector
- Must have 5+ years of experience with enterprise DLP solutions
- Demonstrated ability to work independently with broad parameters
- Experience working with confidential customer, team member or sensitive proprietary data
- Experience tracking and logging detailed information.
- Experience analyzing data requiring high attention to detail.
- Experience conveying results to a broad audience
- Ability to make quick decisions in a production environment
- Basic knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint
- Working knowledge of networks, protocols, standards, Linux/Unix/Window OS internals, and system configuration will be an added advantage
- Bachelor's and/or Master's degree in computer science or information systems
