About The RoleThe ICS Cyber Security Defense and Monitoring group is looking for an Information Security Engineer to join our Data Loss Prevention Engineering Team. The Information Security Engineer will participate in design, installation and integration and manage our enterprise DLP solutions.
ResponsibilitiesThe selected person should possess strong Linux skills & scripting skills, especially related to application support. Installation & supporting applications on Windows or Linux servers would be preferable. We need someone who can independently troubleshoot technical problems at an engineering level. They will need to be able to create clear documentation, provide some mentoring for more junior team members, and communicate well at a technical level with Remote Infrastructure management teams and other internal information security teams.
You will work as part of a highly interactive team, expected to identify issues and render decisions quickly.

Qualifications
Essential :
- 8+ years of information security applications and systems experience with technical troubleshooting
- 5+ years of experience with DLP (Data Loss Prevention)
- 5+ years of Red Hat Linux or UNIX experience or combination of both
- Experience with designing, installing, integrating, and managing DLP Systems
- Knowledge and understanding of data loss prevention concepts and techniques
- Knowledge and understanding of mitigating security controls (antivirus, IPS or IDS, email filtering, web site blocking, patching) and how they work in an overall defense in depth risk assessment methodology
- Working knowledge of networks, protocols, standards will be an added advantage
- Bachelor's and/or Master's degree in computer science or information system

- Advanced Information Security technical skills
- Ability to manage complex issues and develop solutions
- Experience testing and documenting product defects
- JIRA Service Desk Experience & Enterprise change management experience
- Ability to be proactive, innovative and creative in meeting customer and enterprise needs
- Experience supporting applications in a server environment configuring on Command line interface
- Analyzing and troubleshooting server/application infrastructure/logs, etc.
- Experience of Linux and Microsoft Windows 2012-16 Server support experience
- Knowledge and understanding of banking or financial services industry
- Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work effectively, as well as independently, in a team environment
- Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritizing skills
- Ability to identify key issues, involve affected parties, design solutions, obtain buy-in, and communicate effectively through resolution.
