Infotainment & Cluster – Architects

Job Overview :

Understand KPIT’s Infotainment (IVI) & Cluster (Meter/Combi) offerings/solutions and explain the same to customers in order create customer interest
Understand/Interpret customer requirements/RFQ and map the same to KPIT offerings/competencies
Identify (unexpressed) customer problem areas/ opportunities, market challenges and create new business opportunities by providing technical consulting & solutions
Provide feedback to improve KPIT’s offerings based on customer needs/ market challenges, technological trends etc
Contribute in defining technology roadmap/investment proposals to meet customer and market needs
Drive the RFQs and RFPs
Collaborate/Participate with SME’s and leaders in estimation, high level project planning and of developing attractive and winning customer propositions. Have Joint KRAs of revenue along with market sales team.

Education level : Degree in engineering (any of the discipline) / M.Tech

Experience : relevant experience of 4 to 15 years

Job Specific skills :

Knowledge of IPC mechanisms such as MOST, Ethernet AVB, SOME-IP, d-bus
Knowledge of CAN communication & Diagnostics
Knowledge of infrastructure modules like lifecycle, persistence, HMI framework, calibration
Knowledge of Open Source Software and licenses relevant to IVI
Expert in any subdomain(s) within IVI like (BT, Projection, Software Update, Tuner etc)
General understanding of various automotive sub-domains
Exposure to all phases of SDLC and product development
Hands-on experience in doing software architecture and design using standard design modelling tools
Knowledge of Android platform architecture
Thorough knowledge of at least one posix based OS
Understanding of vehicle architecture
