Job Description:

Job Purpose: Validate ECG ECU in lab environment to identify defects through functional and non-functional testing

Responsibilities:

Understand the current test process for validating ECG (Enhanced Central Gateway)
Gain knowledge about the different test methodologies adopted
Identify gaps in the current test process with respect to in-vehicle scenarios
Enhance test suite to include stress/load conditions simulating real world (in-vehicle) scenarios
Focus on the production line environment and derive additional test scenarios n tIncrease test coverage by considering negative scenarios to break the system
Build test conditions to simulate bulk messages (in-vehicle) by introducing concurrencies

Qualification: BE/BTech in EE/EC/CS/Telecom with a minimum of 3 years experience in Embedded system testing

Skill Set:

Experience in TDLC (Test Development Life Cycle)
Strong experience of in-vehicle network and associated protocol (CAN, LIN)
Understanding of different test types (Unit, Integration, System testing)
Good understanding of different test cycles (Sanity, Full Pass, Load/Stress, Performance, Stability)
Strong understanding of Embedded systems with working experience in real-time OS
Good knowledge of Test bench setup, DUT flashing, debugging basic interfaces to bring up the Test setup
Strong knowledge of testing process and associated tools (Event simulation, Log collection, Log parsing)

Additional Preferred Skills:

Good Knowledge of vehicle architecture and different ECU interfacing
Strong understanding of different Automotive toolset (CAN tools - Vector)
Strong experience in validation activities for Automotive ECUs
Knowledge of automation and test scripts creation using Python
