Inspection Engineer in RLA : Role description and qualification requirement:

Location               : Energy House however extensive travelling to sites across India

Employment type: 3PC

Roles and Responsibilities:

·         Extensive travel to customer locations across India

·         Customer visits across India for on-site inspection by non-destructive testing

·         Doing actual inspection with testing equipment

·         Equipment upkeep and timely calibration

·         On site report preparation

·         Coordination with customer for equipment readiness prior to actual testing

·         Reporting to customer on work progress to customer and Thermax engineer

·         Acquiring detailed technical knowledge of testing in boiler and plant equipment

·         After returning to pune office, invoice submission and payment collection

Critical Competencies for the Job:

·         Have reasonable knowledge in physics and basics of boilers theory knowledge

·         Ability to understand technical specifications of power Plant and its auxiliaries including Boilers

·         Working knowledge of computer – word, excel, power point and internet

·         Ability to acquire new technical knowledge during technical trainings

·         Readiness learn new test methods and equipment usage

·         Extensive travelling

·         Knowledge of international codes and standards in power industry like ASME, IBR, BS, EN, API to be acquired

·         Readiness to acquire knowledge of Nondestructive and metallurgical testing

·         Should have interest to learn about new technologies in testing methods and power plant equipments

Having personally owned laptop will be an added advantage for site working and report making.
