The Information/Instructional Designer role is primarily responsible for creating a wide variety of e-learning,
guided simulations, assessments, videos, basic graphics, and other training materials. The person should have a
minimum of 4 years’ experience in driving a variety of Instructional Design projects and should be a good team
player. The scope of work typically focuses on instructional design.
The person should be able to:
Design and develop instructional material and assessments for training curriculum using company styles,
standards, and development tools
Successfully utilize multimedia technology and authoring tools to create effective training.
Enhance the visual aspect of a course by visualizing and creating simple graphics and diagrams.
Demonstrate understanding and appropriate application of Instructional Design methodologies including
ADDIE, Blooms Taxonomy, Adult Learning Principles, etc.
Proofread and edit content to improve quality, readability, consistency, and effectiveness of training
material
Ensure that all information is consistent, easy to understand, and well organized.
Independently develop entry level and advanced courses for both internal and external audiences.
Communicate in excellent written and oral English
Create simple videos in Camtasia or other video editing software
Project management in a training environment using ADDIE
