1. Interacting with the client on a day to day basis
2. Coordinating with different vendors and managing overall site work
3. Creating renders and technical drawings for the finals designs
4. Managing market visits for material and vendor research
5. Outline client design objectives.
6. Set a timeline for the completion of an interior design project.
7. Create 'mood boards' to sample your design vision.
8. Utilize computer applications in the design process.
9. Conceptualize and sketch design plans.
10. Comply with the regulatory environment around inspections and building codes.

Good Interns are able to think creatively about the use of space, color, and movement and will draw on other artistic mediums for creative inspiration. They will also be effective communicators with the ability to persuade in communicating a design idea.
