Roles and Responsibilities
Design
· Understanding client requirement. Coordinating with sales team and client for exact store measurements
· Outline client design objectives
· Conceptualize and sharing reference images of the unit for design plans
· Creating 3D perspective view from the 3D person for presentation with client
· Set a timeline for the completion of the design project
· Brainstorm new and creative growth strategies with team and Management
· Ensure projects and finished graphics are accurate and precise
· Inspect design after completion to determine whether client goals have been met
· Arranging designer for site measurement or locally if the designers are not there
· Prepare furniture layout, site service drawings, furniture specification detail drawings from the designer & after checking send it to production department & to client civil contractor.
· Coordinating with purchase and production team for ensuring the right material procurement for production.
· Designing and managing the project
· Quality check of display units post production.
· Updating the design details in ‘Panel’
· Research, demonstrate and maintain understanding of current and upcoming design/industry trends/new concepts/materials/innovations
· Design display stalls for various exhibitions and events ( only when required)
· Assist technically internal and external customers
· Manage and maintain record keeping of original artwork files and all projects
· Assist in developing Design Delivery Schedule along with client, Sales and Design team
Costing
· Determine cost for below mentioned cases
a) Design for Standard enquiries
b) Design is for standard module furniture as per store size
Team Management
· Conduct design meetings and provide continual input to optimize design and minimize futile work
· Manage distribution and production of project workload within team
· Project prioritization of design, assignment and management to designers
· Lead with effective supervision an experienced design team toward greater creativity
· Evaluate and motivate designers toward continued growth and leading design solutions
· Track team performance on regular basis & provide necessary feedback / mentoring/ assistance to upscale the team performance
· Team Welfare - Grievance, Communication, Motivation & Attrition Management
