Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Working on auditing the system entry of all receipts and invoices
2. Working on noticing discrepancies in the system entries and actual bills
3. Ensuring the availability of all receipts and system entry of financial data
4. Engaging in financial and operational audits for compliance as per company policy
5. Writing and reviewing audit reports for distribution to management and senior management documenting the results of the audit
6. Evaluating the adequacy of internal controls and compliance with company policies & procedures by conducting interviews with all levels of personnel, examining transactions, documents, records and reports, and observing procedures
7. Preparing and analyzing monthly reports to assess risk and identify areas for review
8. Documenting and updating various controls and processes
9. Supporting special projects as defined by management
10. Identifying and defining issues
11. Working on reviews and analyzing evidence
12. Maintaining working papers that record and summarize data on the assigned audit segment, in accordance with professional standards
13. Developing and maintaining productive client and staff relationships through individual contacts and group meetings
14. Representing internal audits on organizational project teams, at management meetings, and with external organizations
