Your Role and ResponsibilitiesIBMer Communications Role IBM is looking for an internal communication professional to drive employee communication and engagement initiatives for the India / South Asia market. Internal communication professionals at IBM create experiences that engage IBMers in our enterprise strategy and how they contribute to our business and our clients' success. They partner with business units, functions, and extended communication teams to provide IBMers the knowledge, information, and clear calls to action needed to work effectively and deliver business results while also building their belief in and advocacy for the IBM brand.Responsibilities - Create and execute employee communication campaigns for the I/SA market. The person will own these campaigns end-to-end, taking functional guidance from the I/SA IBMer Communications Leader and necessary support from the extended Comms team.
- Drive employee understanding and action around the geo/market strategy within the greater corporate strategy. Adapt and implement worldwide and corporate messaging and initiatives as required according to local business conditions and cultural context.
- Create content for Comms programs, including videos, blogs, mailers, infographics, stories, and social media content, with support from the design team.
- Set channel strategy to ensure news and information reach maximum number of IBMers.
- Collaborate with HR for large employee engagement programs, like annual Engagement Pulse, Career Conversations, etc.
- Be the early user of new IBM tools and technology and help their adoption in the market.
Required Technical and Professional Expertise- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with ability to develop clear, concise content
- Self-starter and go-getter – ability to work independently
- Creative thinker who can come up with new ways of communication and content. Strong execution skills
- Collaborative, ability to work in a matrix environment, with multiple stakeholders
- Understanding of business trends in IT and related sectors
- Understanding of social and digital platforms and how to use them
