Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Work on embedded systems and IoT device application development based on competitive IoT hardware/platform
2. Develop hardware, middleware, and software applications for connecting products used in the field to the online cloud services
3. Work closely with various stakeholders to develop complete IoT solutions to improve outcomes and customer experiences
4. Develop IoT device application based on requirements and introduce it into current installations and deployments
5. Research on a new sensor and IoT technologies and incorporate with existing products
6. Integrate current products to online platforms or services
7. Design the architecture of the cloud connector system and implementation
8. Design the communication protocol between IoT device and cloud server
9. Maintain the cloud connector for new features and improvements
10. Investigate and resolve technical issues
11. Document IoT cloud solution with specifications
12. Evaluate project requirements

Requirements:

1. Graduate in computer engineering or network engineering or electronic engineering
2. Knowledge in web programming, IoT hardware/platform (e.g. Raspberry Pi), Linux OS development, network protocols (HTTP/HTTPS/MQTT/MQTTS)
3. Skilled in Python/JavaScript

You will be visiting sites in the field where the systems are being deployed.
