Responsibilities:

Working within the Engineering team, specifically on the software design and development of iOS based mobile/tablet applications
Participate in Design, estimate and development of the required code that fulfills the required product functionality
Adhere to the best engineering practices and tools
Work within Replicon’s software development expectations, processes, and quality initiatives
Work to accurately evaluate risk and estimate software development tasks
Developing the iOS application that interacts with Replicon Cloud based platform
Conduct research to assess new technological developments in the industry and suggest adaptions of such developments
Accountable for estimations & implementation of features in a timely, deadline driven manner while ensuring quality of the deliverables
Collaborate with product management, design and QA teams to ensure technical success of the product.
Understand, be aware and stick to the requisite timelines, In case the timelines can’t be met, escalate in a timely manner
Strive to continually improve technical and developmental skills

Qualifications:

Bachelor of Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field
Must have hands on experience on iOS app development for phone and tablet devices (iPhone & iPad)
3+ years of experience with mobile app development on iOS (most of it must be native iOS programming)
Must have contributed significantly for applications currently active in Appstore
Having a hands on experience in Test Driven Development is desired
Good exposure and understanding of fundamentals of Object Oriented Design and Development
Experience in Agile Development practices
Following technology competencies are required
Fluency in Swift, and easy familiarity with Swift types, UIKit and layout tools
Objective C
iPhone SDK, JSON
Good working knowledge in Swift
Apple provided SQLite
Tools – Xcode (Simulator, Interface builder, Instruments)
Designing for multiple form factors, AutoLayouts
Experience with Git
Up to date with the general mobile landscape, architectures, trends, and emerging technologies.
Collaborating with our mobile platform team to improve our build processes, automation, and CI/CD
Experience with RxSwift, MVC, MVVM, MVI, and Reactive programming is a plus
Good to have - Experience with unit testing and test-driven development
Knowledge in Android, Node.js experience is a plus
