Job Description

Responsibilities
  • Design and build advanced applications for the IOS platform.
  • Assign work to team and track team's progress. Raise red flags in time wherever applicable.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
  • Work with outside data sources and APIs.
  • Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability.
  • Work on bug fixing and improving application performance.
  • Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximise development efficiency.
Requirements
  • Should be able to show sample apps that you have created and answer questions related to them
  • 5+ years of experience with IOS development. 3+ years of experience as a Swift Developer
  • Knowledge of performance limits and characteristics
  • Experience with embedded databases
  • Knowledge of RESTful APIs to connect to back-end services
  • Understanding of UI design and a user-oriented focus
  • Understanding of object-oriented programming
  • Understanding of Apple's design principles and interface guidelines
  • Proficient understanding of code versioning tools such as Git, Mercurial or SVN
  • Critical thinker and problem-solving skills
  • Working knowledge on a video processing/displaying application will be bonus
  • Team player
  • Good time-management skills
  • Great interpersonal and communication skills
