We’re looking for a talented individual to help build a reliable, performant and intuitive mobile platform. If you’re proficient in iOS development and have a strong understanding of good UX, this team might be for you. You will be responsible for the development and maintenance of cross platform applications aimed towards iOS and OS X. The primary focus will be on the development of such applications which will be scalable and can be integrated with other services. You will be working with a team of other engineers and developers working on different layers of the infrastructure. Therefore, a commitment to collaboration, problem solving, design thinking, and creating quality products is expected from you.

Responsibilities:

Design and build cross platform applications for iOS and OS X
Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications
Identification and correction of bottlenecks and bug fixing
Maintain code quality and automate wherever possible
Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency
Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability
Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features

Skills:

Understand Swift and objective C, with a good knowledge of its ecosystems
Thorough understanding of object-oriented paradigms
Experience with Cocoa Touch, Xcode APIs on OS X
Ensure high performance, memory management and parallel computing through multi-threading
Good knowledge of Databases (Embedded) as well as cloud storages
Familiarity with RESTful APIs
Creativity in UI design ensuring great user experience
Knowledge of low-level C-based libraries
Implementation of automated testing platforms and unit tests
Maintain coding standards and optimise wherever possible
Understanding of Apple’s design principles and interface guidelines
Maintaining HIPAA and GDPR compliance and general security through best practices
Understanding of versioning tools like Git
Knowledge of Bluetooth and BLE protocols and standards.
Self-starter, a strong sense of ownership of work, and the persistence to chip away at a problem until you can find a solution.

Qualifications:

3 years of experience (solid design portfolio to prove it),worked with product development team and have launched at least one successful mobile IOS app
B.E/B.Tech/M.E/M.Tech degree in relevant disciplines with first class (60%) marks
Great communication skills to collaborate with developer and product stakeholders.
Experience in working on responsive web applications as well as native mobile apps
macOS development experience
Intimate knowledge of iOS design patterns and Apple’s Human Interface Guidelines
Track record of shipping high-quality, GUI-based applications or technologies
Experience with one or more general purpose programming languages including but not limited to: Java, C/C++, C#, Python, JavaScript, Go, or Swift.
