Educational Qualification

Minimum education qualification is bachelor degree, BE or B.Tech would be preferred.
OR
Degree in computer engineering, computer science, and information system management or information technology would be preferred.

Mandatory Professional Qualifications

Certification in MCSE/MCSA and/or CCNA.
Some hardware and networking courses.

Required skills

Strong communication skills
Knowledge of IT operating systems, particularly in windows.
Knowledge of installing and configuring IT hardware, software and operating systems and their troubleshooting.
Setting up user accounts, assigning privileges and passwords for the organization’s employees.
Knowledge of networks, LAN, VLAN, WAN, internet, VPN.
Knowledge of IP addressing and some common networking protocols like IPv4 and IPv6.
Knowledge of various Networking Services such as directories, files, distributed applications, email, HTTP, FTP, DNS and some other common services.
Knowledge of ISP/Communication Providersand Virtual Private Networks (VPNs).
Knowledge of backup/restore solution.
Knowledge of troubleshooting skills.
Knowledge of windows servers.
Knowledge of Antivirus software.
Knowledge of databases like SQL server.
Knowledge of Active Directory environment.
Knowledge of Cloud computing would be an advantage.

The AwareBase Service team is focused on creating information environment transformation plans and executing them for our customers. Service team outcomes are typically process improvements, elimination of data duplication and inefficiencies as well as identification and implementation of technology solutions involving both software and hardware.

AwareBase is privately owned, was incorporated in the fall of 2004 in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada and has satellite offices in Abbotsford, British Columbia and Ottawa, Ontario. In the summer of 2011, AwareBase went global and opened an operation in New Delhi, India. AwareBase employs 80 full time Information Management (IM) specialists including software architects, developers & testers, business and system analysts.
