Job Description
Summary of the Scope :
  • Maintain and support standard/non-standard software's and hardware's. Ensure that these remain fully functional for all and Responsibilities :
  • Provides day-to-day technical support to employees for network infrastructure and internal desktop systems software and hardware.
  • Installs, configures and troubleshoots desktop systems, workstations and network issues in a heterogeneous environment.
  • Maintains passwords, data integrity and file system security for the desktop environment.
  • Communicates highly technical information to both technical and non-technical personnel.
  • Incumbent acquires job skills and learns company policies and procedures to complete routine tasks and assignments.
  • Incumbent possesses moderate understanding of general job aspects and some understanding of the detailed aspects of the job.
  • Responsible for software and hardware incident support within service levels.
  • Also responsible for new installations of hardware and software through the IT Service Catalog and service request process within service levels.
Qualifications And Experience
  • ITIL Foundation certified.
  • CompTIA A+ certified.
    • Qualification in engineering /computer science/ Information technology.
    • Minimum two (3) years of experience in Desktop support.
    • Experience in Help Desk role supporting PC hardware, Windows, Microsoft products and other desktop applications.
    • Experience in installing, configuring, assembling and repairing computers, monitors, network infrastructure and peripherals such as printers and related hardware.
    • Excellent customer service and troubleshooting skills for general computing issues including software upgrades and preventative maintenance.
    • Strong written and oral communications skills (English)
