Job Description
- Establishes and maintains network performance.
- Builds net configurations and connections.
- Troubleshoots network problems.
- IP address auditing.
- Establishes networking environment by designing system configuration and directing system installation.
- Level 1 support (remote/onsite), maintenance and resolution of hardware and software issues related to end-user desktops/laptops, servers, printers and other network issues within the organisation.
- Vendor escalation for desktops/laptop hardware purchases, repairs or software troubleshooting.
- Maintain and review IT documentation, covering infrastructure, inventory, service subscriptions and contracts.
- Support, review & liaise with end users on the implementation of an IT governance framework, policies, systems, infrastructure to ensure compliance and alignment to guidelines.
- Perform and participate in capacity planning, redundancy planning and execution of Disaster Recovery Plan.
- Provide input for annual IT requirements planning and budgeting.
- Involve and conduct regular system audit for IT effectiveness, efficiency and security.
- Analyse & evaluate system & users’ requirements and make recommendations for IT upgrades.
- Proactively propose suggestions to improve IT systems and operations.
- Proactively identify acquisition opportunities of new innovations for the organisation.
- Assist to drive digital transformation initiatives in line with strategic objectives of the organisation.
- As part of the digital transformation initiative, work with external service providers to implement new applications, projects or upgrades.
- Liaise with multiple vendors and stakeholders in resolving problems in the rolling out of new applications and ensuring that project delivery is on time.
- Any ad-hoc tasks as assigned by the Management
