Responsibilities include:

1. Setting up servers & firewalls and troubleshooting related issues
2. Installing and troubleshooting issues related to windows based operating systems and applications
3. Troubleshooting issues relating to the Windows desktop operating system, mail clients, basic applications, and hardware-related issues
4. Handling OS-level scripting environment
5. Managing project on password changes on all NetOps network devices during every quarterly maintenance either manually or via SolarWinds
6. Configuring, implementing, and troubleshooting routers and switches with various account settings, permissions, and parameters including security firewalls
7. Maintaining system environment by identifying requirements, installing upgrades, and monitoring performance
8. Initiating system specifications by analyzing information, designing system infrastructure, and security requirement
9. Testing the server hardware, software, and operating system management and defining their policies and procedures

Skill(s) required

CCNA

Other requirements

1. Good knowledge of Windows-based operating systems

2. Knowledge of incidence response life cycle and about IT protocol suite, security architecture, network databases, and application

3. Experience configuring various networking protocols, specifically OSPF, BGP, and EIGRP, and troubleshooting issues with the network
