Job Title: IT Recruiter
Job Summary: The IT Recruiter plays a crucial role in our organization's talent acquisition efforts by identifying, sourcing, and engaging top IT talent. This individual will work closely with hiring managers to understand their technical staffing needs and will be responsible for the end-to-end recruitment process for IT positions.
Key Responsibilities:
Candidate Sourcing: Proactively source and identify qualified IT candidates through various channels, including job boards, social media, networking, and referrals.
Screening and Interviewing: Conduct initial candidate screenings and interviews to assess qualifications, technical skills, cultural fit, and interest in the position.
Job Posting and Advertising: Write compelling job descriptions and post them on job boards and other relevant platforms. Create and manage job advertisements to attract suitable candidates.
Candidate Pipeline Management: Maintain a candidate pipeline, track candidate progress, and provide regular updates to hiring managers.
Collaboration: Partner with hiring managers and IT teams to understand staffing needs, provide guidance on candidate selection, and facilitate the interview and hiring process.
Offer Negotiation: Extend job offers to selected candidates and assist with negotiation, as necessary, to secure their acceptance.
Compliance: Ensure compliance with all legal requirements and company policies during the recruitment process, including EEOC and affirmative action guidelines.
Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of candidate interactions and recruitment activities in the applicant tracking system (ATS).
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
Experience: Proven experience in IT recruitment, preferably within a corporate or agency setting.
Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with IT roles, technologies, and terminology is essential to assess candidate qualifications accurately.
Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to effectively communicate with technical professionals.
Networking: Strong networking skills to build and maintain relationships within the IT industry.
Attention to Detail: Meticulous record-keeping and attention to detail in managing candidate information and documentation.
Time Management: Ability to handle multiple open positions simultaneously and meet deadlines.
