Job Description
Working in integration test environment for SWT which are to be deployed in storage validation labs. These SW Tools are expected to work together and benefit the validation team to plan, schedule the test runs, collect results, perform failure analysis and present their data analyzed for a specific FW / Program which is under various validation stages such as FVT, DVT and Platform.
• Understanding the business requirements and value add of the features developed
• Capturing use cases for features being developed and sharing it with end users well in advance
• Constant sync with dev team to understand the feature dependencies, limitations and prepare the test bed accordingly
• Perform integration testing in a minimized infrastructure which is similar to actual validation lab using subset of validation tests.
• Active participation in debugging issues, Identifying RCAs and analyzing logs generated
• Perform compatibility testing with various set of SW Tools based on the user requirement
• Raise enhancements for the features developed by identifying usability concerns
• Conduct demo sessions to end-users and being the first POC for any user support, troubleshoot user issues, coordinate with SWT development team to provide appropriate workaround or fix to unblock users
• Provide appropriate documents stating end to end tool workflow, use cases, prerequisites, known issues, enhancements planned. Contributed to multiple system releases of SW Tools for CSS validation team
