Java API Lead

Position Description

Seeking accomplished Java API Lead to join our Commercial Lending Group and support its Digitization/transformation programs for one of our financial services clients

Future Duties And Responsibilities

Works as a Lead Developer, on Design, Development of Web applications, Microservices API architecture. design and development and takes bottom-line.

Interfaces with business users, product owners and other stakeholders to finalize technical, functional and non-functional requirements
provides technical design and handles build of critical pieces and guides teams.
Coordinates with offshore team leads. various stakeholders and reviews deliverables.
Leads scrum teams, does code review, and handles overall delivery of projects.
Development with SpringBoot & Microservices
Web development with Angular
Ability to recognize user experience needs and convert into design.
Coordinate the workflow between the UX team and front-end developers
Technical expertise in the design, development, coding, testing, and debugging of software.
Ensures that software meets or exceed specified standards and end-user requirements.

Required Qualifications To Be Successful In This Role

Should be strong in providing the application design and drive the team
Should have strong hands-on experience in Java, Spring framework, Spring Boot, JUnit.
Strong hands-on in REST services
Should have experience in Micro services and service based architecture.
Strong hands-on in Angular 6/7/8 with unit testing frameworks protractor, jasmine and karma.
Experience in Web development, Responsive UI.
Ability to recognize user experience needs and convert into design.
Knowledge Reactive programming (RxJs)
Experience in CSS and CSS preprocessors like SCSS, LESS
Preferred to have experience in Jenkins and CI and CD pipeline.
Should have worked in Agile methodologies.
Good hands-on Maven or Gradle projects
Excellent oral and written communication skills

Minimum Education Required: Bachelors Degree
