Position Overview

The Engineer designs and develops application code, implements technical solutions, and configures applications in different environments in response to business problems. To meet the requirements of the business, the Engineer actively participates in the design and architecture of the application or its components, investigates and proposes appropriate technologies to be used, promotes re-usability of existing components and contributes to the creation of frameworks. Assists more junior members of the team and controls their work where applicable.

Your Key Responsibilities

Extensive working knowledge of Collections, Generics, Exception handling, Data Structure, Design Patterns, Oops concepts
• Knowledge of Concurrent Package, Java8 lambda expressions, Streams, Functional Interface
• Strong knowledge and hands-on experience of Spring Core, Sprint Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Batch
• Hands on Exposure to development Testing using jUnit including mocking APIs like JMock, Mockito
• Working knowledge of messaging tools like Kafka, Solace, MQ, JMS
• knowledge of ORM Frameworks like Hibernate is plus
• knowledge of Distributed cache like Hazaelcast, Oracle Coherance is plus
Hands-on experience of RDBMS like Oracle or Postgres
• Extensive working knowledge of SQL, Joins, Triggers, Index
• Knowledge of PL/SQL is plus

Education/Qualifications

Degree from an accredited college or university with a concentration in Engineering or Computer Science
