JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Converting 2D designs/reference images/written information into a 3D CAD model

• Be part of the CAD team and make accurate CAD models as per the Customer’s needs, keeping the aesthetics and feasibility of the design in mind

• Create and maintain a library of standard design parts

• Optimization of designs for production

• Guide the other CAD designers and troubleshoot problems

• Give inputs in terms of the feasibility of designs

• Maintain daily worksheets/records and report to the CAD manager on a daily basis

• Fill the technical sheet format for all projects

MINIMUM REQUIRED SKILLS

• Total Work Experience – 5-6 years

• International or Export Market (European & US Jewellery market) work experience – min. 2-4 years

• Good communication skills with the rest of the team

• Excellent skills in Rhino & Matrix (any version)

• Excellent understanding of design and technically able to understand potential problems

• Need a willingness to learn and adapt to market changes

• Be able to handle work pressure

• Need to be open to development and constant changes in designs to satisfy customer’s needs

• Good interpersonal skills

PREFERRED SKILLS

• Any knowledge of other related software

• Previous experience in model making and/or designing

• Basic understanding of Excel, Word, PPT, Gmail, etc.

• Working Proficiency in Written English
