Chennai Metro Rail Limited (CMRL) invites application for the position Joint General Manager/Deputy General Manager/Manager

1. Name of the post: Joint General Manager/Deputy General Manager

No of Post: 02

Service: IRSE / Group ‘A

Scale of Pay for deputation post:

(i)The deputationist shall be entitled to draw pay being drawn in the parent organization. Additionally, deputation allowance and project allowance at 10% of Basic Pay each will be paid.

(ii) Option to draw pay and allowances as per the parent organization or to draw equivalent cadre IDA pay scale in CMRL with IDA, HRA and Cafeteria Allowances of 20% of Basic pay

Tenure of deputation: Initial period of deputation will be for a period of 3 years, which shall be extendable upto 5 years.

Qualification & Experience: (i) Bachelor Degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized Institute / University.

(ii) Should be in JAG/SG grade with proven track record of minimum of 6 years of experience in execution of large Infrastructure projects.

1. Name of the post: Manager (Electrical)

No of Post: 03

Service: Group ’B’ or Group ’C’ Officer as SSE/SE-Electrical

Scale of Pay for deputation post:

(i)The deputationist shall be entitled to draw pay being drawn in the parent organization. Additionally, deputation allowance and project allowance at 10% of Basic Pay each will be paid.

(ii) Option to draw pay and allowances as per the parent organization or to draw equivalent cadre IDA pay scale in CMRL with IDA, HRA and Cafeteria Allowances of 20% of Basic pay

Tenure of deputation: Initial period of deputation will be for a period of 3 years, which shall be extendable upto 5 years.

Qualification & Experience: (i) Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering from a recognized Institute / University.

(ii) Should be in Assistant Officer /Senior Supervisor grade with proven track record of minimum of 7 years of experience in Group ‘B’ or minimum of 10 years of experience in Group ‘C’ as SSE /SE.

(iii) Should have experience in Railway Electrical Engineering disciplines - Rolling Stock (EMU & Loco),25 KV Traction Distribution, EHT/HT/LT Power Supply & General Services.

Age Limit: 40 years for DGM 43 years for JGM (Age will be relaxed for deserving candidates),Manager: Age not exceeding 38 years as on date of notification i.e. 03.05.2021
