Pune Journalist (New Media) Experience 0 to 5 yrs Skills Required Job Summary Job Description We are looking for a journalist to work on exciting new projects at our Pune office. We need someone who loves reading long form articles and news in tech, politics, society, culture science and more, and can summarize them into concise, easy to understand, written and visual content. Responsibilities Discover, read and summarize 20-30 pieces / stories / news every day Create visual content such as images, gifs and videos. Keep tab of all the latest news, blogs and articles, from India and around the world Promote content via social channels. Requirements Some experience in writing and/or editing news content. A competitive streak you delight in scooping the competition. A critical eye for storytelling in any medium. Excellent organizational skills, focus, and the ability to work independently. A passion for and knowledge of whats happening in the world. The ideal candidate also has a working knowledge of photo editing, photography and video editing software. (Preferably Sketch and Final Cut Pro). Impeccable grammar and attention to detail with an eye toward clean copy. Qualifications BA English, Bachelor in journalism, Bachelor in Journalism (Mass Comm.) , Bachelor in Journalism and Mass Communication (BJMC),Bachelor in Journalism, PG Diploma
