Minimum Educational Qualification: Bachelor of Engineering in Information Technology/Computer Science/Electronics and Communication or equivalent from a recognized institute.
Desirable Educational Qualification: Masters Degree in Information Technology/Computer Science (Preferably MCA) or equivalent.
Minimum Work Experience: At least three years of work experience in a reputed organization involved in IT/Cyber Forensics/Cyber Security.
Desirable Experience/Skills: (i). Working experience with a Police organisation especially in domain of crime and criminal intelligence, extremism and other aspects of criminal investigation and digital forensics is desirable. (ii). The candidates possessing demonstrable skills in programming. digital forensics, cybercrime investigation and having sufficient exposure to various technologies will be given preference.
(iii). Ability to analyze data, write programs/scripts to extract data/analyze system logs etc.
(iv). Candidate should be conversant with networking protocols and internet protocols. (v) Proficiency in local language (Kannada).
