Job Description

Name of the Post: Jr. Project Assistant

Number of Position: One 

Emolument: Rs. 17,600 per month (consolidated)

Nature and Duration of Appointment: The position in purely contractual. Duration of appointment will be one year.

Project Title: “Biochemical and functional characterization of two formins of Leishmania major and their role in infectivity of the parasite” (BT/PR26167/Med/29/1229/2017).

Essential Qualifications: Bachelor degree (B.Sc.) with honors/major in any branch of Life Science from a recognized Indian University and having higher qualification will be plus point.
Desirable Qualifications:

Working experience in molecular biology technics like DNA/RNA extraction from cells and tissues, PCR, qPCR, ELISA, Western blot etc.

Place of Work: Laboratory of Dr. Sankar Maiti, Department of Biological Sciences, IISER Kolkata
