Project Title : 'Long-Term Analysis of Aerosols and Related Aerosol Radiative Forcing in Ganga Basin at B.H.U. Campus, Varanasi'

Qualification : The candidates should be (1) Post Graduate in Atmospheric Science/ Meteorology/ Environmental Science /Environmental Science (Environmental Technology),(2) possessing UGC/CSIR NET, and (3) 3 years/ 6 semesters B. Sc./ B. Sc. (Hons.) with Physics and Mathematics as two subjects.
Desirable :Previous experience of (1) aerosol optical and physical sampling by MWR, MicroTOPS-II, Dust Sampler (PM 10/2.5),Aethalometer, Multi-stage Cascade Impactor, (2) Radiation Sampling, and (3) radiative transfer model (e.g. SBDART) as well as aerosol databases (e.g. GADS/OPAC).
Fellowship : Rs. 31000 + admissible HRA as per government norms
Age Limit : The upper Age Limit is 28 Years (relaxable for 5 years for SC/ST/Physically Handicapped/ Female candidates). All things being equal, SC/ST candidates will be preferred as per GOI rules.
