Amity Institute of Public Health invites Applications for Junior Research Fellow
Applications are invited from highly motivated and bright candidates for the following assignment on a time-bound research project undertaken in the Amity Institute of Public Health, Amity University, Noida.
Junior Research Fellow/Number of posts:01
Name of the Research Project: “Smart regulation of antibiotic use in India: understanding, innovating and improving compliance”.
Duration of the position:Initially One year (extendable to two years based on performance)
Pay Scale: Rs.31,000/- + HRA
Essential qualifications: Post Graduate Degree in Basic Science or Graduate/Post Graduate degree in professional course selected through a process described through any one of the following: Scholars who are selected through the National Eligibility Test -CSIR-UGC Net including lectureship (Assistant Professorship) and GATE
The selection process through National level examinations conducted by Central Government Departments and their agencies and institutions such as DST, DBT, DAE, DOS, DRDO, MHRD, ICAR, ICMR, IIT, IISc., ISER, etc. At least one research paper in Science Cited Indexed (SCI) journal.
Skills: excellent scientific writing, clear communication skills, proficient in using Microsoft Office and data analysis software
Desirable: The ideal candidate is desired to have: Have experience with data extraction and research writing/reports and some previous publications
Experience in antimicrobial resistance/antibiotic use/health care delivery/research and working in multi stakeholder project. Be proficient with MS office (word & excel) and have strong analytical and writing skills.
The project is of total 3 years (2018-2021) and has completed the first year in Sep 2019. An initial contract period will be of 1 year subject to renewal
Age: As per DBT-ICMR norms (Upto 28 years as on the last date of application for general category; age relaxation of up to 5 years (up to 33 years) for SC/ST/PH and women candidates and 3 years (31 years) for OBC (Non-creamy layer)
