Job Description

NIMH/PROJ/ICMR/BP/JRF/NOTIF./2019-20

Applications are invited from the eligible candidates, for filling up the posts of “Junior Research Fellow” on contract basis in the ICMR funded project entitled “Discover & Development of human Superoxide Dismutase(hSOD1) Modulators by Rational Approach: A Potential Therapeutic Target for Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS)”

Junior Research Fellow (JRF) /No. of posts :1

Essential Qualification: Post Graduate in Biophysics/Biotechnology/Life Sciences Experience Applicant should have substantial experience in protein crystallography, bioinformatics, molecular modelling, molecular simulations, pharmacophore mapping and other tools inclined towards drug discovery and development. Experience in protein biochemistry in preferable but not mandatory.

Desirable :One or two years research experience in the relevant field

Maximum Age Limit: As per the rules of GOI

Emoluments: Rs.25,000/- + 30% HRA per month
