Job Description

Applications are invited for ONE position of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) for the Science Engineering Research Board (SERB) sponsored project 'Identifying the role of Histone acetyltransferase motif in Cardamom mosaic virus Nia protease in

chromatin remodeling and DNA degradation' The appointment is purely temporary and selection is based on merit.

Period: For the SERB Project period (2 years)

Emolument: A per SERB norms.

Eligibility: M.Sc First class in Biotechnology/ Biochemistry/ Plant Sciences/ Agriculture/ Genomic Sciences. CSIR/UGC/DBT or Equivalent National Eligibility Test

Desirable. Experiences in recombinant DNA methods, recombinant protein expression & purification, protein-protein interaction, plant tissue culture & protoplast isolation.
