Job Description

Advertisement for the post of Junior Research Fellow in a DST-SERB sponsored project

Applications are invited for a position of Junior Research Fellow from the eligible candidates for the DST-SERB funded Research Project (CRG/2019/000367 Dated. 17.12.2019) entitled “Ex-situ Conservation and Reintroduction of Aenhenrya rotundifolia (Blatt.) Sath. Kumar & F.N. Rasm. – an Endangered Jewel Orchid from the Southern Western Ghats of Tamil Nadu”

Junior Research Fellow (1 No.)

First two years: Rs.31,000/- (with UGCCSIR NET/GATE) + HRA (As per norms) per month Or Rs.16,000/- ( without UGCCSIR NET/ GATE) + HRA (As per norms) per month 

Essential: 1 st class M.Sc. degree in Botany / Plant Science / Plant Biotechnology with UGC-CSIRNET/GATE (preferable) 

Desirable: Experience in Forest exploration, Plant Tissue Culture and Molecular Techniques.
