Job Description

Applications are invited for the following post to work in Science and Engineering Research Board (SERB),Government of India sponsored research project entitled “Novel integrated engineering approach for effective tar decomposition and its last minute removal to fuel gas reforming in biomass pyro-gasification”.

Junior Research Fellow: One Post @ Rs 31000/- pm fixed (1st year +2nd year) and @ Rs 35000/- pm fixed (3rd year) with house rent allowance at a rate of 16%.

Qualification: M. Tech. in Chemical Engineering/Chemical Technology/ Energy engineering/Chemistry with GATE or NET/GATE qualified M.Sc in Chemistry/ Environmental science (less preferable) with 55% marks and having studied mathematics at senior secondary/Intermediate (10+2) level. 

Desirable: Candidates with research experience in thermochemical conversion of biomass particularly pyro-gasification will be preferred. 

Maximum Age Limit: 28 Years (5 years relaxation for SC/ST/physically handicapped/ female candidates).
