Advertisement for Junior Research Fellow (JRF) recruitment under a GITA-DST research project

1. Project title: Evaluation of Transit Oriented Development (TOD) and Its Association with Travel Behavior and Gentrification Using Big Data Analytics

2. Position title Junior Research Fellow (JRF)

3. Duration (in years) 3

4. Number of position(s): One

5. Essential qualification:  B.E./ B.Tech/ or equivalent degree in _Civil Engineering___ (First class),ME/M.Tech in Transportation Engineeringwith valid GATE

6. Desired qualifications A prior knowledge of below mentioned skills is desirable: Transportation planning, Transit Oriented Development, Proficient in Travel behaviour modelling andGood analytical ability and competent in writing skills

7. Emoluments Rs. 31,000/- pm for the first 2 years and 35,000/- pm for the third Year.

8. Job nature: In this project candidate need to perform, Travel behaviour data collection, Development of the analytic models, Travel behaviour and association with TOD

9. Other benefits The selected candidates are eligible to register for PhD degree at NIT,Warangal as per institute rules. However s(he) needs to apply for PhD position when the advertisement is open.
