Job Description

Indian Institute of Technology Gandhinagar (IITGn) invites applications for a JRF position in the area of Computer Science and Engineering

Project Title : Scholarly information extraction from comparative charts and tables Description: Applications are invited for one Junior Research Fellow (JRF) position for a SERB sponsored Project. 

Qualifications: 1. Masters degree in Computer Science and Engineering or related areas. Or Bachelor degree in Computer Science and Engineering or retated areas wth valid GATE score. 

Desired Qualifications: 1. Expertise in machine learning. text processing and analysis 2. Prior experience In Python platforms such as NLTK. Anaconda. Python notebooks aiong with basic versioning system knowledge 3. Experience of wilting research papers 4 Implementation experience of atteast one MUNLP project 5. Evidence of excellent coding skills 

Remuneration: JRF: Upto Rs. 31,000/- per month based on the qualficabon 

Duration of Position: The total project duration is 3 years. The candidates will be offered a position for 12 months, which will be extended based on the satisfactory performance of the candidate and availability of funds.
