Job Description

Indian Institute of Technology Gandhinagar (IITGn) invites applications for a JRF position in the area of Computer Science and Engineering.

Project Title : Scholarly information extraction from comparative charts and tables

Description: Applications are invited for one Junior Research Fellow (JRF) position for a SERB sponsored Project. The work involves Scholarly information extraction from comparative charts and tables. Available Position:

Position : JRF

Mandatory Qualifications: 1. Masters degree in Computer Science and Engineering or related areas. Or Bachelor degree in Computer Science and Engineering or related areas with valid GATE score.

Desired Qualifications:
1. Expertise in machine learning, text processing and analysis.
2. Prior experience in Python platforms such as NLTK, Anaconda, Python notebooks along
with basic versioning system knowledge.
3. Experience of writing research papers.
4. Implementation experience of atleast one ML/NLP project.
5. Evidence of excellent coding skills.

Remuneration:
JRF: Up to Rs. 31,000/- per month based on the qualification.
Duration of Position: The candidate will be offered a position till 29/03/2022.
