Project on: “Digital Image Forensics in the Context of a Connected India: Algorithms and
Implementation”

Junior Research Fellow (JRF Computer Science)/No. of post – 01

(The project work may lead to a PhD subject to qualification of institute Ph.D. norms by the candidate.)

Essential Qualification: M.Tech. / M.E. in Information Technology / Computer Science and Engineering / Electronics Engineering from a recognized University/Institute with minimum 60% marks or 6.5 CGPA (throughout from class X to the qualifying degree).

For SC/ST/ Person with Disability (PwD) category, a minimum 55% marks or 6.0 CGPA (throughout from class X to the qualifying degree) is required. OR B.Tech./B.E in Information Technology / Computer Science and Engineering / Electronics Engineering from a recognized University/Institute with minimum of 80% aggregate marks or 8.5 CGPA (throughout from class X to the qualifying degree) and a valid GATE score are eligible to apply.

Desirable Qualification: (1) M.E. / M.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering / Information
Technology with previous GATE qualification. (2) Knowledge in Machine Learning / Image
Processing. (3) Experience in Python programming.

Fellowship: Rs. 25,000/- per month in 1st and 2nd Years. Rs. 28,000/- per month in 3rd Year.

Age Limit: Maximum 32 years, (Upper age limit is relaxable upto 5 years for SC/ST/OBC/ Woman
and Physically handicapped candidates).

Duration: Three years
