Job Description

No. DoRD/ADMIN/2021-22/011 Date: 26.07.2021

Applications are invited for the position of JRF under the Project titled “Development and Implementation of Different Robust Control Algorithms for Plasma position control in a Tokamak”, in the School of Electrical Sciences, IIT Goa. The project is sponsored by Board of Research in Nuclear Sciences (BRNS),Department of Atomic Energy (DAE) ,Government of India

1. Nature of work: Implementation of Control Algorithms in MATLAB/SIMULINK and in FPGA Research Discussion with Scientists.

2. Post Name: Junior Research Fellow

3. No. of Position: 01

4. Duration of appointment: Initially for a period of 1 year. Appointment may be extended for further one year based on the performance.

5. Essential qualification: M. E/M. Tech in Electrical Engineering/Electronic & Communication/Control System Engineering/ Instrumentation/Embedded System B.E. or B. Tech in Electrical Engineering/Electronics & Communication Engineering /Instrumentation & Control - Must have a valid GATE.

6. Desirable: Exposure in FPGA, VHDL, Python /C/MATLAB

7. Salary: Rs.31,000/- P.M.(As per BRNS norms)
