JRF job opportunities in Indian Institutes of Science Education and Research (IISER) Bhopal

Project Title  :  ‘Development of remote sensing based method for the rapid reconstruction of time series of formative water discharge of the Ganga and Brahmaputra rivers in the Himalayan Foreland’

No. of Post  :  01

Qualification  :  Master's (M.Sc.) /M.Tech degree in Geology/Civil Engineering/ Hydraulics and Water Resources Engineering/ Geoinformatics/ Remote sensing and GIS from a recognized University/ Institute with a minimum of 60% in aggregate or CGPA/CPI of 7.0 and above on  a 10 point scale (overall percentage/CGPA/CPI; not only in majoring subject). The condidate must have physics/ Mathematics/ Computer Science as a minor in BSc. In addition to minimum qualification, for all candidates, a National level examination, National Eligibility Test (NET)/CSIR-JRF/UGC-JRF/INSPIRE-Ph.D./GATE/ or any other Fellowship is mandatory.

Desirable :  Working knowledge in microwave remote sensing/ water resources/geomorphology/ hydrology/GIS.  Experience in working with PYTHON, MATLAB, SQL etc. and image analysis tools.

Salary :  Rs.25,000/- + 20% H.R.A
