Job Description

Applications are invited for the Post of Junior Research Fellow (JRF)for the DST-SERB Funded Project in School of Bio Sciences and Technology (SBST),(CRG/2019/002045),Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT).

Title of the Project : ¢A perspective anticoagulant peptide from Nori; Porphyra yezoensis hydrolysate acting on intrinsic pathway of coagulation¢.

Qualification : M.Sc. Life sciences/ Biotechnology/ Biochemistry / M.TechBiotechnology or equivalent in Biotechnology/ Biosciences.


Desirable :


Candidates having knowledge in protein purificationand experiencein technical writing will be preferred.

Stipend : Rs. 31,000/- per month (for first two years),Rs. 35,000/- per month (for the third year)M.Tech/M.Sc. with GATE/JEST/NET

Candidates without GATE/NET, stipend will be as per institute norms.

Sponsoring Agency : DST- SERB, Government of India.

Duration : 3 years
