Advertisement for the post of one Junior Research Fellow (JRF) On CONTRACT Applications are invited from Indian nationals for the post of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) (on contract) in research project entitled "Effect of boundary layer growth on blast wave mitigation studies inside the shock tube"funded by SERB.

1. Name of Position : Junior Research Fellow (JRF)

2. Number Of Position : 01 (one)

3. Project Duration : (02 (Two) Years (Appointment will be made on CONTRACT basis for a period of one year)

4. Essential Qualifications : M. Tech in Fluids and thermal Engineering with75% marks Or B. Tech. in Mechanical Engineering with 80% Marks and GATE score

5. Desirable Qualifications: Working knowledge on Computational Fluid Dynamics related computer programming. Preference will be given to the candidate having experience in the Gas Dynamics and CED solver writing.

6. Fellowship : 31,000/- pm + (HRA as per institute norms)

7. Other Benefits : Eligible candidate may entitled to register for Ph.D. program of the Institute. Facility of yearly leave, carryover leave, medical benefits etc. may be available as per applicable rules of the project staff

Age Limit:
28 years as on the last date of application (The upper age limit is relaxable upto 5 years in the case of SC/ST/OBC/PwD or Female candidates).
